Hi, We have a baby two weeks old and we have a problem to keep him awake while breastfeeding! sucks for about 3 minutes and then fell asleep. sleep for 5 to 10 minutes and then wants her breasts again! is also very difficult to wake Onse hes asleep! so I've been mostly nurses for hours. He does not want to nap or time, sleep at night for about 3 hours, nurses for about 20 minutes and 3 hours sleep but as soon as there is light, I can not go back to bed! pretty sure IM are not the only ones with the problem ':) Thank you for your advice and ideas! wishing everyone a wonderful day and if faced with a sleeping baby, a lot of patience so! The lactation consultants at the hospital put a cold washcloth on my kids' feet to keep them awake. At home I just putrefaction to wake up when he fell asleep and when he wakes again. 3 hours of the night is fine, but you should get at least 1 hour to an hour during the day.
